Paul Cassidy

Paul Cassidy has a PhD in Genetics and experience as a research scientist. His research expertise lies in the molecular genetics of ocular diseases, particularly glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration, and he has broad research experience in translational research; biochemistry; molecular biology; genetics; rodent models; non-human primate models; medical sciences; public health; neuroscience; bioengineering; and related fields. Paul is a professional Scientific Editor with the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) at WashU and has served in this role since November 2020. He is skilled in editing manuscripts and grant applications for scientists and researchers from across the Washington University community.
