Maria Piarulli, PhD

Maria Piarulli, PhD, joined the Department of Physics in August 2018 as an Assistant Professor. Her research aims to develop theoretical and computational methods to accurately explain properties emerging in light nuclei and large systems like neutron stars. From 2015-18, Piarulli was a postdoctoral fellow at Argonne National Laboratory. She earned her doctorate degree from Old Dominion University, VA.
