Elizabeth Yanik Rowlands, ScM, PhD

Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr. Yanik earned an ScM at Johns Hopkins University and PhD in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina before joining the Washington University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery as an Assistant Professor in 2016. She is currently supported by an NIH/NIAMS K01 career development award to conduct research leveraging data available through the UK Biobank cohort. This research focuses on identifying and evaluating risk factors for rotator cuff disease, with an emphasis on genetic and occupational risk factors.
