Ashley Bardon

Assistant Director, Global Health Center

Ashley Bardon is the Assistant Director of the Global Health Center at the WashU Institute for Public Health. She is an epidemiologist and has worked in global health research and education programs for more than 11 years. Prior to joining WashU, she worked at the University of Washington International Clinical Research Center, the UCLA Division of Infectious Diseases, and the UCLA Center for World Health. Her research has focused on differentiated models of healthcare service delivery in sub-Saharan Africa and point-of-care and self-testing strategies for HIV, malaria, and other health conditions. She has also spent considerable time working to improve and sustain global health academic programs. Bardon holds a PhD in epidemiology at the University of Washington, an MPH in health policy from Saint Louis University, and a BS in biological sciences from the University of Missouri.
